  • I have been trying to get my account information for the longest time. I first set up service in February and that was the biggest mistake. Since then I have been billed outrageous amounts for services and lied to about the amount that I was supposed to pay. I have paid over 300.00 for service that was not remotely good. I would like to start off by saying that your customer service center is incredibly rude, dishonest, and unfriendly and sometime gross. I know it sounds weird but I had one guy talk to me while he was sick with something. Every time I call I either get hung up on or get redirected about 3-5 times. Every time I talk to someone and I ask them for my billing information they give me a different amount. First it was 78.00 then it was 100.00 then it started to be 56.00. Now, my account says 280.00+. How? I do not have service other than internet which is one of your lowest and worsts service. I used to have prism but that failed because I was lied to about pricing. I spoke to a customer service representative about the changes, she kindly removed all the charges that had to do with prism including the early termination fees. She gave me a confirmation code for this change... She told me that with the internet all I would have to pay was 29.95 + Taxes which "Will not be more than 42.00" She said. Now I am more than happy to send you the plethora of confirmation codes I have received from the company. After a day or so I obviously was skeptical that just like that my issue was resolved... I called again and three people told me I owed 78.oo+ dollars. Absurd I thought but no, Century link never seems to fail at failing me. It's like I'm being punished for picking cheap service... Anyhow, I asked them why I owed the large crazy amount for 20 mbps of Wi-Fi! They could not give me an answer so they gave me a "one-time credit" which don't get me started on the credit because I have yet to receive the 50.00 gift card for the promotion I was promised... The credit was applied and they gave me yet another confirmation code. Great, but in fact no one was willing to take my confirmation code and no one seemed to care to even ask or take it when I offered. Are those numbers made up? Now, I get back on to the system service on the website to check my account and it still says I owe 270+ dollars. Unbelievably believable! Why is it that I can't get a face to face conversation with someone or have an actual solution to my issue?
