Who doesn't love a family-orientated type restaurant? I know within the culture of Filipinos from my friends/family, it's always about family and tons of FOOD! If there isn't a Nanay or Lola around you're missing out, she's the gem of the family that is making sure you're fed & satisfied; this is how I feel this kitchen does for my soul. So many varieties of home-made dishes to pre-packaged bakery items to more! Today we settled for our usual order of Lumpia Shanghai for the honey. And I got my oh so craving of lechon kawali and pancit bihon. Everything was fresh and delicious, even had a great convo with a fellow patron whom spoke so highly of the beaches of the Philippines. Everyone was friendly as usual, totally worth the drive since we live on the East Side of town. Salamat Halo-Halo Kitchen, we shall see you again!
