| - My wife made an appointment, took the day off, rushed to get there after working late, and it was an early appointment. Her appointment was at 9am, and they recommended arriving 30 mins early for paper work... we arrived and signed in at 8:45am. No greeting, no eye contact from anyone at the front desk, and the lobby was empty. Several moments later they called her over and told her she was late and would have to reschedule. I was furious on her behalf, but she relented as she has not been feeling well. I convinced her to call and ask why this had been done, and though the lady that answered initially stated that should not have happened, she said she would speak with the front desk to review and then call back. An hour later she called, and stated my wife had signed in at at 8:55am and that since she was more than 15 mins late (appt. was 9am) their policy was to reschedule. Complete BS, and a lie that we were that late!!!! We had time to drive miles home, sit down, and call by 9:03am to mention our concerns, but somehow signed in, and waited for several minutes, were turned away, drove home and call in 8 mins .... BS!!! No sympathy, no mention of any policy prior, no care about what obstacles she had to go through...if my employees treated someone in this manner there would be a follow up with the customer, discipline and retraining, and a demand for compensation, but I am sure no one cares as we are just a number. I write policies for my company, and they are designed as a guide to help serve the interests of the company and the clients, but are not law.
