  • I'm a cocktail nerd. For example, I have a collection of 10 different bitters and tinctures sitting on my kitchen counter. So you could imagine how much I didn't find any of the standard Las Vegas Strip cocktails very exciting (But we have 25 different frozen drinks available!!!). Finally we found this wonderful little bar in the lobby of the Contemporary Hotel. You wouldn't expect it to be a place where they can make good cocktails. It's a lobby bar right? I mean, when we walked up we saw some bros drinking Bud lights. But then we asked the bartender if he had a cocktail menu and his eyes lit up and he got us a menu and there were all these wonderful classic cocktails listed. Once we ordered he started mixing and shaking and then delivered us two wonderful drinks. They were pricy but we're on the strip and in an upscale resort hotel so it was appropriate and the value was there. If you dig well crafted drinks, go here.
