  • I recently tried Showboy Bake Shop for the first time. Like many others, I've had Freed's pushed down my throat and for years neglected to try any other bakery. On a whim, I decided to try Showboy and ordered a custom baby reveal cake. It was wonderful to walk into the store and be greeted immediately, and attended to within minutes. The service was excellent. I went in having a pretty good idea of what I wanted. They respected my requests and made thoughtful suggestions. I was able to try a few different flavors of frosting before selecting what I wanted. The cake was ready when expected. Looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Super moist and full of flavor - lemon cake with champagne frosting tasted just how you'd imagine. And when we cut the cake there was no denying I'm having a boy! Bright blue cake. None of that questionable frosting color. The entire cake was blue. Loved it!
