Too many people for the number of food trucks and every food item seemed ridiculously overpriced. After paying $12 to get in (only $6 plus service fee if you used the Yelp code) the expectation of fast food and instant refreshment is not on the menu.
With those caveats, you can still enjoy the experience and maybe even find a food truck you like.
For $2 many food trucks had a sampler and then for $6 or more you could get a full plate (cardboard tray) of your choice.
All the beer, wine and cocktails were $6.
Wandering around on Saturday afternoon was entertaining, especially if you are a people watcher. The band added substance to the event and they all gave their heart and soul into the music. They even managed to belt out a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, which is a really tough piece to perform. Kudos to the penultimate band of the afternoon. (Hot sun and black clothes-creative, yet crazy!)
The cooking demonstrations were fun and the saltine eating contest was hilarious.
So, basically go for the experience, not for the food.
