  • I love Las Vegas. A place where people can act like idiots. Get rich, married, get drunk on the street. Dine in fabulous restaurants, catch live entertainment, go clubbing or swim in lavish pools. With that being said...Wicked Spoon. Which is located within the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino. I loved my experience. Very modern and contemporary decor. Each item presented nicely. A few items such as their fried items were plated in tiny fryer baskets. It was a nice touch. I sampled a good amount of food. The prime rib was well seasoned. I asked for a medium rare cut. Perfect pink in the Center. Nice seasoned crust on the outside. Paired with their Risotto it was delicious. We also tried their bone marrow. Not a huge fan. It was flavorful none the less. Their Mac and cheese was delicious. Very creamy. Good cheese flavor, and the sauce wasn't broken. It held under their heat lamps. They also offered various sausages. I had a small piece. The spices were great. Not to salty or spicy and wasn't to fatty. Shrimp and grits were surprisingly good. I was expecting the grits to have a hard crust on top because of the heat lamps. They were nice and creamy. Great texture from the grits and the shrimp was moist. Not rubbery or over cooked. The seafood selection was excellent. Two options of crab legs. Precut or whole. Shrimp cocktail, oysters. Some fried options as well. Served with butter, cocktail or tartar sauce. The Dessert bar was amazing. Gelato, cheesecakes, Cakes, macaroons, cookies to name some options. I sampled their macaroons, cookies, mini tarts and pies. Creme brûlée. Almost everything. Great service. Our server was friendly and welcoming. Ensured our drinks were refilled and cleared our table whenever she passed by. I highly recommend this buffet the next time you're in town. We'll for sure be back.
