| - Fantastic! Convenient location, lovely and comfortable.
We paid a little extra for a lakeview room, which I'd totally recommend--practically a whole wall was windows, with a great view of Lake Ontario, the harbor, the islands across the way, and a small (quiet) little airport, where it's fun to watch the tiny planes take off and land all the time.
After looking at photos online, I was hoping there'd be a telescope in our room...SK rolled his eyes at this, sure that the telescope we saw online was just for advertising, not for real. But I see in the other review that telescopes are, indeed, an option! Maybe just in the fancy suites.
We parked in the hotel garage--$21/day isn't too bad for this kind of thing, and the garage was underground and guarded--much less extortionate (and better parking) than you'd get at a comparable hotel in, say, Chicago.
Bed and bedding were super comfy (we were supposed to have an adjustable Sleep Number bed, though, and I don't think we did...maybe that's just in the fancy suites, too).
No Continental Breakfast; restaurant/lounge on the 5th floor where you can get pricey Eggs Benedict (we didn't eat there, but nice to know it's there).
The shampoo smelled nice, but the in-room coffee was WEAK!
Street car line runs right outside, just a couple blocks from the CN Tower, the Rogers Center, and the Entertainment District.
Would definitely recommend it, and go back!
