  • Common sense should've warned me at the door where the first sign to greet you says "CASH ONLY!!!" 'NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS'. -And likely no taxes paid either. If there's dishonesty in a huge sign out front WHY should I not expect the same treatment? Well, I didn't. My friend brought her car here and the repair was decent enough. Aside from letting her drive out without her headlights connected, it was an unevenful repair for her. Mine on the otherhand... 1.) Quote for mine was $700 for the job. The Cost billed to me ended up being OVER $1,300 (TWICE THE COST OF THE QUOTE). I received a call from Dave the day after I dropped the car off. He called to announce the price would now be NEARLY DOUBLE his quote! When I said, "Stop." I can't afford it." Dave said he couldn't stop. He said he couldn't put the car back together now because he "BROKE parts in the dismantle!" My car was going to be held hostage! 2.) The events that transpired over this 3 day epic journey into hell will be addressed. For now I will say I was given no viable alternatives. I had no choice but find more money- and Dave said the car would be a few days. 3.) Time to pick the car up...I was called at 3:00pm Friday and told to come get the car by 4:00 pm. I dropped everything to get there in time with ALL the CASH for Dave's ATM. Still, I was left waiting a full 2 hours in the lobby--it was after dark before Dave came out to sign me off for my car. Dave didn't take me out to show me my car before taking payment. In fact, he just took my money and said "The car's out front." It was AFTER DARK! Dave did NOT even offer to walk me to the car. I went out into the dark, touching the car fender, like Brail, I found the work was a mess of mismatched seams. When I turned the car on the AFS signals kept flashing (they were never reconnected). I went back inside to get Dave to "discuss" this. Even with nothing but the light from my cell phone to light the car, it was plain to see the fender paint doesn't match the car body, and the work was obscenly bad. They'd promised to blend the paint into the door---FAR FROM IT! THERE IS EVEN A NEW DENT IN THE FRONT LEFT SIDE THAT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I TOOK THE CAR IN!!! The headlights were changed-out altogether...I mean changed to a different model! I don't even think they belong to this model or make of car. One headlight light is now completely burned out and the rest don't even match the car. (What the h...?) When I asked Dave to just touch the grossly mismatched seams he refused. Eventually he said, "I suppose we can take it to the shop lights if you "REALLY WANT TO SEE THE WORK." Dave ACTUALLY SAID THAT! Who delivers a job they are proud of in the dark????? 3.) I asked him to fix the AFS Sensor lights- to reattach them. He turned on his heels and went inside leaving me standing on the street with my car. I figured he would come back to drive the car into the shop to make the repairs. Dream on. I finally went inside to see what was taking so long. He and his helper were sitting at the computer WATCHING a Utube on "HOW TO ATTACH AFS SENSORS!" It unbelievable! They had to GOOGLE THIS! I found nothing to say, except "Forget it! I'll take it to the dealer to fix." (which I know will cost $$$ but by then it was anything I could do to just escape these clowns. Dave is the owner. When I casually asked Dave 3 days ago, why he went into Autobody Repair said, "Hell, This business is like my personal ATM Machine." There's more, ...Will add photos and continue. I know,.it's hard to believe there's more, but yes, there is. No one should have to ever go through this. BTW...Las Vegas Autobody -offers (Ha Ha) a "Lifetime Warranty" -- If you happen to have special whoooeels, rims, lights etc...do9 you really expect to still have them at the end of your "repair?" Really? What recourse do you think you might have to get them back if they "go missing" like mine did....It's Cash, & Hand Written Receipt -not worth the paper it's written on. As I say... more to come with photos. BOTTOMLINE: Just consider yourself WARNED..... Follow up IN RESPINSE TO LVA COMMENT: The statement LVA made saying I EVER agreed to a 'partial repair' is NOT TRUE!!!! I NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER Agreed to a ANY KIND of a Partial Repair! On the CONTRARY! I Never Turned Down ANY Service. The repair was to be TOTAL and COMPLETE...ESPECIALLY NOW THAT DAVE WAS CHARGING ME DOUBLE THE AMOUNT I WAS QUOTED!!!! And as anyone can NOW SEE for themselves, THIS is what to expect from LVA! TRULY, ...JUST BE WARNED!
