  • I love this spot. It's perfect all year round. On sunny days my pup and I love hanging out in the open air area and the covered patio (for some shade) and in the winter we hang out inside or on the patio with those temporary plastic walls and the overhead plastic heaters running. The facility is extremely well run. Nobody can come in without signing in first, and there are multiple different indoor and outdoor areas, depending on what you and your pet need at the time. The front indoor area with a sit-up bar is on-leash only, but there is another completely indoor area for off-leash fun. There is also a very large indoor-outdoor space (included in the areas described in the first paragraph). During bad weather, it's separated into a second enclosed indoor space and an outdoor space (the large roll-up door gets closed) but on nice weather days it's open. There's also a smaller "small dog only" outside penned in area for the pups who want to stick with others of their own size. There is no food served here (for obvious reasons) but the drinks are very reasonably priced, and there is often a food truck outside, especially on weekends. We like buying the Dog Tag beer, which they always have in cans. Dog Tag Brewing Foundation supports and enhances Gold Star Family experiences. So you're drinking for a very good cause. I think the very best part about this place is the fact that it's truly always patrolled by people working there to make sure that the dogs (and their humans) are behaving properly. Fights are not allowed to continue on while drunken owners stand by confused (as happens at other locations). Rather, the people who work there always have an eagle eye out for potential issues and help break up any problems which may happen. Repeat problem causers are asked to kindly remove their pet for the day. (Sometimes our pups have bad days, so they're not necessarily asked to leave on a permanent basis, just to take their pup out of the situation for now, for the good of all the pups.) Overall, we'll definitely keep coming back.
