| - Horrible. I get constant auto emails asking me to come back. So far out of the realm of possibility. The staff is RUDE, even scanning your pass is annoying for them. If you're lucky enough to get your kids in there for childcare hours, they act like you are inconveniencing them. Once, the childcare staff actually told me they were closing an hour early so I had to come get the kids an hour before they were listed as closing. Asked the manager, he said there was no plan to close, he had no idea they were doing that. The kids bathroom was flooded every time we used childcare, the kids come out with SOAKED socks. The dropping of the weights and loud groaning are intolerable. Machines would stay broken for weeks and weeks, and the entice-you-to-join Tvs on the cardio equipment were rarely functional. If they still have the big runway-esque carpet spread out across a big, inconvenient space right smack in the middle of the gym, you'll love the awkwardness of trying to get to the line of sweaty people waiting to use the water fountain, walking around people squatting and lunging down the runway. Because oh hey, forgot to mention, asked if they had water to purchase and they told me to go to Trader Joes. Went to a few Zumba classes, which reminded me of the elementary school playground...better be in the inner-circle group of die hard Zumba-ers, or you'll be shoved in the back where you can't see--until the instructor comes around giving high fives to all her friends. At least you can see SOMETHING I guess. Lovely to walk in the room right after a class ended to smell sweat and see puddles of it on the floor from the last class. That was special, for sure. Oh and one last tip, if you are in a hurry, don't ask to change your membership, add childcare or add a family member--nothing that takes actual customer service. If your experience is anything like mine, you might have to sit and wait until 4 guys stand in a group and chat about their workouts the night before. Literally happened while sitting in their office in front of the computer...clearly, comparing their muscles is way more important than helping customers.
Other than those few very minor things...great place to spend time! ;-)
