| - My husband took me to Las Vegas, and we had a really great time. I had grown up in Southern California, and never been to Vegas until May 2016. Being in the engineering industry as a configuration analyst, and my husband a test engineer for aerospace company, we were interested to tour the Hoover Dam--any type of engineering is of interest to us. We also wanted to see the Grand Canyon. I read several reviews on Yelp, and I am so glad I did. I chose to book with Grand Adventure tours. We were picked up from our hotel, and we were happy that breakfast and lunch were included.
Our tour guide (I forgot his name ) was polite and outgoing. We introduced ourselves to the other two parties on the tour; after all, we would spend the next 12 hours together. Our guide gave us interesting information on Las Vegas, and surrounding areas as Henderson, NV and Lake Mead. We stopped along Route 66 before heading into GC. When we got there, and as we hiked the trail, our guide pointed out facts about GC, and interesting formations of parts of the canyon--one in particular that resembled a battle ship. As the sun set, I thought how beautiful it was to see what was very likely the only evidence of the flood that occurred in the days of Noah and his ark. Seeing the water lines throughout the canyon, I was glad to experience this, and even more glad we booked this tour. It was money well spent and I'd do it again with Grand Adventure tours.
