We came here as a party of 4 for my birthday. They were incredibly busy on a Saturday night. The wait was something like 2 hours, and they don't take reservations. However, if you leave your phone number, they will kindly let you know about 15-20 minutes before when a table will be ready for you. This allowed us to get drinks downtown by the Capitol before coming back to enjoy our meal.
It was delicious. We ordered their charcuterie board and allowed our server to pick the meats and cheeses. The chicken fried hearts were crispy followed by an offal flavor. Salty and delicious, but not quite my thing. The fried mushrooms were amazing. There was a variety of mushrooms which retained its earthy flavors, but there was a touch too much oil in that dish for me. We also ordered their fish special (I can't remember what kind of fish it was) for the night. The fish was cooked to perfection and we polished it off.
The atmosphere is nice though really very busy. They seated the four of us at the bar area which wasn't preferred, but on a busy Saturday night, we didn't have much choice.
