I made an appointment with them to clean my home. They told me that their arrival time would between the hours of 2-4pm on Thursday August 9th. They told me that if I was not there to let them in between the hours of 2-4pm they would charge me a lock out fee of $75. I arrive at my home at 12:40pm to see a note left on my door and a message on my machine telling me that they had arrived at 12:30pm and no one was there to let them in, so they have charged me the $75 lock out fee and then moved on to the next home. When I called them to tell them that they had told me that I was to be there between 2-4pm not at 12:30pm they told me that it did not matter as they could not guarantee a time and they could not come back. I told them that yesterday they had told me that if I was not there between 2-4pm then I would not be charged a fee- they did not mention that they are allowed to arrive at anytime. They refused to resolve the issue by refunding the $75 fee. I tried to arrange a time for them to come back another time and do the cleaning- and I would pay for a new appointment and they told me that they refused to service me. They did not give a reason. I had made it clear that I would pay for a new appointment and they still refused to service me.
When I spoke to them on the phone they clearly stated "If you are not there to let us in between 2-4pm then we will charge you a lock out fee" and did not mention any other time frame for me to be home. Had they said to be home the entire day to let them in I gladly would have obliged. When I called to talk to them on the phone they were incredibly rude and the fact that they refused to even make a new appointment when I offered to pay for a new appointment I find incredibly unprofessional.
