  • I dont get the bad reviews for this hotel. We were greeted promptly and friendly. OUr room was facing the pool, had a living room area great for entertaining. and separate bedroom. It was alot roomier than I was expected and the design/decor was awesome. Everything was clean. And modern. It was the little things that made the HUGE great impression. There was some type of a tree branch (spruce?) in a tiny vase in the room that made the entire room smell fresh. There was jazz music playing in our room when we checked in. Complimentary coffee, candy bars (!!) water AND soda. And holy mackerel the blankets and pillows and linen were beyond comfy. Another cool detail...being independently owned, they only support and recommended other independently owned local businesses. The pool was cool, not that big, but cool. Music playing at the pool area. But my boyfriend was totally impressed by the music playing UNDER the water. LOL. Like i said...its the little things. I did not make it to the restaurant people rave about...but I will be back!!
