Hey Home Depot Management--
I went looking for a specific item and of course there weren't any employees around to help me find it. Instead, there are screens in the middle of the aisle that BEEP when you walk by and record you. On the screen, you can see a Security Officer staring at monitors.
How about this idea.....
Instead of making your paying Customers feel like they can't be trusted, how about having an employee available for questions on these same screens? This way we wouldn't have to waste our time looking for an employee to direct us to an aisle number. Heck, you may even save money by doing this since one employee could cover multiple aisles.
Afterwards I went to Lowes and had the opposite experience. Employees approached me and asked if I needed any help. There weren't any monitors beeping as I walked through the aisle either.
