  • Visiting Montreal and of course we had to try Schwartz's! We went around 7pm, and there was a short line, but we were probably seated within 10 minutes. Our server was really friendly, and we ordered the smoked meat sandwich and a black cherry soda. Yum! The sandwich was great. We went with their recommendation of "medium" fattiness, which seemed perfect. Moist, meat easily broke apart. Yum! They are cash only, but there's also an ATM on the premises. I know that it might seem touristy, but definitely give this place a shot!
