DO NOT RENT from this company. Not only was this the worst experience I've had with a storage rental, it's the worst experience I've ever had with a business, period. Customer service is horrendous; It's impossible to get someone on the phone and when you finally do they are largely unhelpful. I was consistently being referred to the district manager, Richard, who after repeated phone calls and messages (over the course of multiple weeks) never found the time to answer or call me back. Additionally, contacting customer service online is a huge waste of time as you will only receive prewritten responses that don't even apply to you.
To top it off, when I went to move my things out of the unit I found them water damaged and infested with bugs. I was informed there was a flood in the building weeks ago but they weren't sure which units were affected. They contacted those they were certain had water damage.... As for the remaining units- "they had to wait until people moved their things out to determine the extent of the damage." It seems to me that the responsible thing would have been to contact all the units so people could come check on their stuff but of course that's asking too much.
Again, worst experience I've ever had with a business. They have no regard for their customers and it shows. I will never be using public storage again and I highly recommend staying away from them as I can almost guarantee you will be disappointed with your service.
