  • My partner and I came here on Boxing Day for a bit of just-us time after a few days of family holiday extravaganza. We sat at the bar and were treated to a lovely, cozy little date. Over the course of a couple hours we chatted with our bartender, Meghan, who not only made excellent recommendations and talked to us about the different gins on the menu, but whipped up expert cocktails and made us feel totally at ease. We split the burger and fries, which were (no other word for it) perfect, and I got the toasted marshmallow ice cream for dessert. All in all I can't imagine a better mini-getaway in restaurant form, and next time we're in the 'burgh, we'll be visiting Spoon again.
