  • Or group of friends love escape rooms and when we decided to try out Mayze, it did not disappoint. Make sure you bring your student ID for an extra 10% off as well getting another discount for checking in on fb. Located in a small unit off Markham Rd, there's no signage from the main road which is a little annoying and makes it hard to find but look for the unit numbers and you'll be ok. The one staff member who was there was kind and helpful. As for the game itself....don't do The Truth of Osaka High with a group with of mainly girls. This room is easily the scariest room we've ever done which was very unique. There's a ton of secret passages that lead to the other parts of the escape and going through each new door was horribly frightening (me and the only other guy friend would always go first). Thankfully their other room isn't horror based so maybe we'll try that next time. The room was very interactive and technology was used very well with lots of physical puzzles which I find more fun than finding a key (Mayze doesn't use locks in their rooms). Besides the overall decor of each room we entered, Mayze was a great (and horrifying) escape experience. 4/5
