I have never been to Japan, but I had the feeling I was actually in there or in a very detailed movie set representing a Japanese garden in the US at least when visiting the premises. What an enjoyable experience. Due to many sponsors you can see all over the Japanese friendship garden in acknowledgment plates, everything is so carefully made and beautiful. Even the restroom looks lovely and traditional on the outside and is beautiful and modern inside. After passing by the restroom you face a first viewing point facing the koi pond. The bridge that crosses it is curved on purpose for the visitors to slow down and enjoy the garden at a leisurely pace. You can find all details like this and much more at the self guided tour map that is illustrated at the pictures. So detailed, with a beautiful waterfall and streams. This place is a dream and relaxing venue. If I'd live in Phoenix visitors world struggle to get into this place, given the amount of times I would rent it for private events. You can even get koi fish food to feed them. I highly recommend it. Way better than the classic iPhone app to have the live experience. :)
