Alright, let's start with the good: Not too large or too small, cozy feeling, sexy dim lighting, square central bar, tucked off lower St Denis, Quentin Tarantino's zombie movie playing on the TVs (one of the few enjoyable uses of a TV in a bar if you ask grumpy-me.)
The service was medium to meh. Surly bouncer who only cracked a smile once I dumped my change all over the front entrance (with characteristic clutzy panache, don't doubt it.) Waited at an open area of the bar for over 15 minutes while staff walked back and forth, didn't make eye contact with us, high fiving regulars.
