The Ale Asylum makes me want to move to Madison. Seriously.
It's no secret that I am a snob about many things food and beverage related. There I said it :P Is it wrong to like high quality things in life? Sure, I could drink some shitty Miller Lite, but why would I when the Ale Asylum serves up amazing brews?
I went here a few weeks back and immediately was drawn to their beer flights. Forgive me, as the 9 "samples" (at least 6 oz pours) left my memory delightfully fuzzy. And might I add, this flight was less than $20!! Quality beer at an affordable price. I likey.
There were two very friendly bartenders, always making sure we were doing okay (how could we not be?!) :) I got to watch one of them pull some pork for various dishes--looked so delicious. Next time I need to try a pizza or something.
They do offer brewery tours once a week. I think that'd be really fun because the people we encountered were so nice and seem truly passionate about their craft.
