  • I currently use the library mostly for the children's programs they offer. We have participated in various programs that suit different age groups for my kids and overall we are very happy. The programs are reasonably priced and well timed. We love the music and art programs for toddlers and the teacher is just wonderful - with the kids and the parents! Everything is nicely organized and most of the staff are very kind and friendly. I also really appreciate the small considerations such as calling me in advance when a class has to be cancelled. One big problem to me, however, is the parking. There is simply not enough! -Especially on busy mornings when children's programs are running and there are lots of parents and kids. The parking lot cannot accommodate the number of cars that need to park and if you don't get there early enough to snag a spot, you are left searching for a spot on a side street or Main Street. This is not easy, especially with the winter snow banks and trying to maneuver a stroller. We hope more children's programs are added for the summer and as long as I can arrive early enough to find a parking spot, we will keep coming to the Newmarket library for daytime fun!
