  • I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness for over two years and I am appalled at how rude and unprofessional the custodian in the locker room was towards me. I sat and texted my kid and no one was around the area when the employee said to me loudly "get off of your phone", I looked up at her stunned and she pointed to a sign that said "No phones in the locker room", so I said ok, I am just finishing my text and again she approached me rudely saying" there are naked people and you can't use your phone". I then told her how dare her talk to me like that and said to her "I don't take pictures of naked people" and walked out. I never went near my camera nor would I have ever thought about taking pictures of members or in the gym. I'm a 56 year old woman and I go there a couple times a month with my husband who was also at the gym with me. I pay $300 plus and have paid for training and other extras. I spoke to the manager who could care less and was not going to do anything about his custodian! I am cancelling our membership in the morning. I don't have to pay that much money for what is supposed to be a "step above the rest" to have a repulsive loud mouthed employee treat me like that. I've been treated much nicer and respectfully at all of the clubs previous to joining Lifetime. Shame on Lifetime, I am in a customer relationship and relocation business and will NEVER refer that club to anyone ever again.
