Mom's fries and wings were cold, we sent them back. Restaurant was not busy. By the time she finished her ribs and I finished my meal, her fries and wings showed up. I said: that took a long time. She said: well they had to cook them. Me: so they weren't cooked the first time you served us cold food?! She didn't get it. No compensation offered.
Bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. My mom had to use the mall washroom with her scooter. While I was using their non accessible "accessible" washroom, a man was trying to push his wife in a wheelchair through the door. He said: I can't go in. I said: I'll help her get to the washroom. He thanked me the four times he passed us.
I brought this up to the manager. Here is a couple where the husband needs to assist his wife and it's not a designated accessible gender neutral washroom so he couldn't go in to help her. That's terrible! The AODA states you have to be accessible. Manager: oh I'll bring that up as we're about to add a Harvey's here and we're going to do a bit of remodelling. That would be great! (I'm not holding my breath though)
