  • A friend of mine invited me out for dinner and a drink to his local watering hole, thew Harp & Crown. It was packed with a crowd my friend described as mostly regulars. He lives withing walking distance so he's a regular. They offer half price food on Wednesday and Friday evening with the purchase of an alcoholic drink. That's why it's packed! I ordered the wings and ribs combo with fries and my friend ordered the pork souvlaki dinner. The food was okay but not outstanding. The ribs could have been cooked longer for more tenderness. Beyond the BBQ sauce, I think it could have used a little more seasoning, especially some salt. same for the wings. My friend enjoyed his dinner. The drinks are reasonably priced so I may just have to visit again on a Wednesday or Friday.
