| - My lashes got damaged because I used the horrible "bombshell" mascara from cover girl... While looking for instant solutions, and tired of putting glue on my eyes, I discovered the lash extensions.
After reading the reviews of three different places, I got captivated by the before/after pictures of Fembotika.
I called yesterday, left a message, and Colleen called me back today. She asked for my credit card info, and $40 deposit to confirm the appointment (amount deducted from the cost of the package you pick).
The place is in an office building, the repo sets are super comfy, and she offered me candies and chocolates (the chocolates are sick). Colleen was really nice; she gave me a form to fill about allergies and medical conditions, she explained me the methodology, and told me to ask her about any doubt.
I didn't feel any unpleasant sensation, and I just can say she likes what she does because she is a pro (she's been doing this since 2008).
I got the medium package: 55 lashes per eye at 135+ tax. It took her one hour. She put some patches down my eye to protect the lower lashes, and I needed to be with the eyes closed during the whole procedure, until she told me my new semi permanent falsies were ready to blink/wink.
She advised me not to use oily makeup remover, and invited me to give her a call if I have any doubt.
I'm so happy with the result that I won't use mascara... Ok only on weekends!... So girls, this last sentence is the main Not to Do after putting the lashes...
If you day dream like I usually do... Don't be afraid of asking several times about the same question, especially if you are taking a treatment, procedure, or beauty service (for sure they will tell you everything you must follow, while you are thinking about your favourite quesadillas joint...). So I just put a post it in the mirror of the washroom, to remind me to mix the makeup remover with water before using it, and I just hid the mascara.
PS. I'm in love with the results of this beauty trick!!!
