Did a HH here. Sat on a long plushy, comfy couch with my babes.
I ask for a Dogfish Head 90. $3.75. This is a 94 point draft brew poured into a shaker glass. Nice Copper color with a suddy, head that dies to a one finger lace around the glass. The hops hit like a ton of bricks, but with a slightly sweet malty character. Loud but many consider this beer perhaps to be the best IPA in America. I believe this is the best price I have ever seen this beer in a bar.
My gal loves margaritas and so she enjoyed her prickly pear margarita $5. Says it was excellent. Prickly pear cactus has been a staple food of Native Americans for many centuries. It is believed the prickly pear margarita goes back to the 1800 in Colorado from traders that came up from New Mexico bearing syrup made from prickly pear .
Ordered up the happy hour phyllo pockets which are warm savory pastries made of phyllo dough with a soft goat cheese inside. $5. These flaky pastries were served with a drizzle of pesto and honey balsamic reduction.
They have a few accolades under their belt including best wine and cheese. Their cheese experience is a must. A wine list that offers interesting selections and their filet mignon one of the best steaks in the Valley. The entire menu is reasonably priced.
