This is by far one of the worst times an an auto place I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, I didn't have an appointment. My problem. However. I went in for an oil change. He said it would be 1.5-2 hour wait. I thought that was a little unreasonable but whatever. He also said that included a complimentary inspection. Where they would check out all my stuff. Look for any problems etc. and tire rotation. THIS seemed to make sense for about an hour of service. Let me preface by saying I KNEW ahead of time that my windshield wiper fluid reservoir was cracked. I wanted to be quoted on this so I didn't say anything, I knew they'd find it in the inspection. We left for an hour and a half. Walked back and it still wasn't ready. People who arrived after us were already leaving with their cars. The customer service rep was incredibly rude with all customers who 'maybe' had issues with their cars. Telling them they needed hundreds of dollars worth of work done for their cars to be drive able. He was all sales and it was a little off putting. Anywho. When it was 12:07 I asked when it would be done (we checked in at 10) and he said it would be 10 minutes. We got our receipt and he said NOTHING about any issues being found. Which means they did not do the inspection. And he was just so rude during the check out process. An oil change takes 20 minutes tops. There's no reason on this earth I waited 2 hours.
