| - This fresh spin on classic Mexican dishes make this place worth the trip. The menu is sprinkled with all the wonderful foods one who grew up in the south would attribute to that oh so delicious Mexican food they came to enjoy growing up. However, the rich seasoning, zesty sauces, and overall lack of salt make the dishes feel like the splash of jumping into a cold spring on a devilishly hot summer day. I like to get the cheese enchiladas, but let me tell you, my friends, Dorothy is far off the path of yellow brick cheese with these babies. They're rich and creamy but the balance that the verde sauce brings to the concoction edges off the deep lethargic that comes with overindulgence. Also, the balance of corn tortillas and goat cheeses leave your belly full, without the typical gastro-regrets that follow Mexican food. No sir this is not your typically cheap, greasy, Mexican food place. That being said, the waitress admitted to a lot of their dishes being pre concocted and thereby unalterable because of that. So if you are traveling with allergies, or aversions, keep in mind these delicious dishes are not very customizable. Furthermore, no salt goes into anything, they do bring a small plate of it to the table for your convenience. But as previously mentioned don't come here expecting greasy, salty, delicious Mexican dishes.. Instead, meet their estranged sisters who carry delicate, intentional flavors into your favorite labeled dishes.
