| - This place was such an experience! I went here with my family for my mom's birthday and we were not disappointed.
What's really cool is that you walk in through the kitchen! Like the real, completely working kitchen. The chef's and waiters and everyone wave and say hello. I thought it was very unique and definitely added to the experience.
The interior gives off an old-fashioned, velvet walls, leather booth, old-timey gangster vibe. It's super cozy and you can tell the interior hasn't changed much in the many years they have been there.
When you first arrive, they bring cold vegetables and ranch for the table. They were very fresh and delicious! We ordered drinks - first, a classic gin martini with an olive. I'll admit it was too much for me, but my family enjoyed it! I ended up ordering a lemon drop and it was fantastic.
After you place your order they bring over delicious bread with olive oil and some kind of herb/vegetable topping. I ordered the Catfish, but my mom and grandmother each ordered the big ribeye, and our other guests had the liver and onions and a large Caesar salad. We all enjoyed our meals and everything was cooked to perfection! The sides are hearty and flavorful as well.
For dessert, we ordered the Creme Brûlée trio and WOOOOOW. There was a chocolate one, a berry one, and a classic one that honestly tasted like butterscotch to me. They were all fantastic and it was a great way to end a meal.
The service was friendly and nice, and the whole experience was very classy and enjoyable. It's definitely a pricey place so expect to spend a little extra here! They were also very accommodating with my grandma and her wheelchair which was super great.
