I had a very stressful week, I thought a nice spa day will do the trick. I found this spa on the groupon website for 35$ for feet exfoliation and a swedish massage.
When I first arrive, the reception greeted me and she instructed me to sit down while she prepares the fish exfoliation. I went in there and I had to undress because I was wearing jeans. She instructed me to wash my feet first before getting into the fish tank. When I got into the tank, the fishes slowly came on my feet to take a bite off my dead skins. The sensation was very ticklish and I enjoyed the experience.
After the fish exfoliation, I went into the room and I had to undress to get onto the massage table. A lady came to greet me and she proceeds to give me a 60 minutes massage. She lets me know that I have a lot of knots on some part of my body and I have to relax because I was very tense on my upper body. Near the end, she gave me an exfoliation all throughout my body and she asked me to rest for three minutes before getting up to dress.
When I dress, I head to the receptionist lady and I paid the 5,85$ taxes fee and I gave out a 25$ tips for the massage lady.
Overall, I didn't like the way the receptionist talked to me. When I first called to book, I was told to call back in five minutes. My arrival was met with a hasty response and she told me to hurry up to get to my next appointment. The lady doesn't seem to like her job very much and she looks annoyed at me.
The location is clean but it wasn't very comfy. The massage lady was competent and she did an amazing job at giving me a massage.
