  • Well, last night of vacation and we needed something to cool us down. If you love ice cream, especially old fashion custard you will not be disappointed. My wife opted to go simple and enjoyed their hot fudge sundae. I decided to try one of their flavors of the day, today was Higbees Chocolate Malted. It was fantastic, just the right amount of malt to chocolate and the waffle cone was crunchy to the end. I see from their web site that this flavor had been awarded by Cleveland's Scene Magazine's, "Best of Cleveland 2003" for being the "Best Blast from the Past! I second that and can see why it is their most popular flavor. I hope to try one of their banana splits someday when I am hungry enough. We will be back, :)
