  • Hilton Grand Vacations solicited us to go to their timeshare presentation and gave us a reduced rate for attending. We spent money on 3 airline tickets, airport parking, transportation to and from the airports as well as loss of income from 2 days of work. In return we were rewarded with a unsanitary, disgusting dirty room. I shared photos of the room with Sr Sales Manager David Love and he apologizes and has me speak to front desk manager Jon Ryan. They offered to clean the room or move us, we only had a day and a half left and we would need to repack and we were on our way out so we did not move, by the time we get back we would of had a day left. This room needs a deep clean which requires extensive cleaning because of built up grime, look at the pictures. The worse thing was finding someone's sex toy/apparatus of sorts left behind in the bedroom drawers. Glad our 4 yr old daughter did not encounter these items. Jon Ryan offers a $50 credit to use at the property? Really, that's how Hilton try's to make it right? Reached out to Corporate Hilton for help since Saturday March 18th, neither Elara or Hilton has contacted me after saying someone will contact me. I contact Hilton again and they say I'm shown as a late cancel, can I prove I stayed there, I produce my folio(trying to insinuate we were never there?). I still have not been contacted and it is now 3/24/17. I never thought we would have such a bad experience with a Hilton property or experience such a poor handling of a situation. Pictures paint a thousand words and actions speak louder than words. I gave Elara and Hilton 7 days and the opportunity to do what's right before posting a negative review with the disgusting pictures. Hilton use to be a class act, I guess the times have changed. If we backed out of the presentation there were penalties. If we cut our stay short there would be penalties. We held up our end of the agreement and spent our time, what is Elara/Hiton's penalty for not providing a clean and sex toy free room? Not even the common courtesy to contact me back after being told someone would contact me multiple times. Poor business practices.
