  • I had my Ram 1500 Crew Cab EcoDiesel re-tinted here after the dealer did the worst tint job possible. Pro -Tect removed the old film from the front two windows and tinted all the glass with cermaic film. The windshield has the heat blocker 70%, front side windows 18% and they went over the factory privacy glass wih the 70%. The exterior photos look way darker than it is in person as I had a sunshade covering the windshield. I also added photos from the inside looking out taken at 1 PM. It is dark enough so people can't see you clearly so it gives you some privacy (you can still see an outline of a perosn if looking in from the outside) but light enough to be able to see at night. Highly recommend the windshield heat blocker. It has a slight tint, but has cut so much heat and UV A/B rays that my hands no longer are on fire while driving as the sun shines right down on them. As others have said, this place is immaculate. The reception person and Richard were great and spent a bunch of time talking me through my options. Very happy they talked me into the 18% for the front sides and they did a great job. Dropped off at 9 am and picked up around 4:30 PM. Highly recommend this place.
