| - The facility is clean, new and bright, and doesn't have the usual anti-bacterial sterilized feel that many older hospitals do. All the departments seem to be well interwoven so that you can get referrals and see other specialist as necessary.
I come for the endocrinology department (for diabetes) and see a whole team of people, including a doctor, dietitian, nurse, counselor?, and diabetes educator. My diabetes educator (who's name I cannot remember), is the best! She is super prompt in getting things done, she is direct and to the point, but also understanding of the difficulties of diabetes, being a diabetic herself. Everyone is very friendly, and they often have training doctors (which is always nice to see).
Wait times and appointment limitations are the only difficult thing. I always try and book the first appointment in the morning, and show up 15 minutes early, but I still end up waiting for about an hour of doing nothing. Appointments are almost impossible to book, as the doctors have very limited availability.
