  • Let me start by saying that I am not one to write negative reviews, Great Wolf has not been a total disappointment but for the money we have spent so far upsetting. My husband and our two sons (1&6) arrived on Saturday we had planned to check out on Thursday although now we are thinking of leaving early and checking out this afternoon. Saturday at check in my receipt was $1,700 for a basic king room for Saturday-Thursday and two pup passes, Saturday night we had dinner at the grill it was HORRIBLE the service was bad it took 20 mins to get a mixed drink and a beer our appetizer never made it out, and my food (grilled chicken over spinach) was awful. The check was still $75 after my meal was taken off and the appetizer was taken off. Sunday we rented a cabana at the water park it was $149 the cabana comes with a server that comes around every 15-25 mins. We were lucky if we would see our server every hour and when we would order a drink it would take a good 30 mins. for one drink (the drinks were wrong twice) it's just not the kind of service you expect when paying $149 for a cabana for the day at a resort you have already spent a fortune on. Monday we tried the grill for lunch again just so we wouldn't have to leave the resort. It was even worst than before, it was 2:00 so it was a slow period for the restaurant. All the employees were huddled around the computer station in the back by the kitchen, our waitress was one of them, she was eating pizza actually. It took 20 mins just to get drinks forever to get our food then once we did get our food we never saw our waitress again I had to go find her and wait for her at the bar to pay by bill. As for the rooms the beds are just as bad as all the other reviews say they are. The lifeguards definitely do a wonderful job. Cub club was pretty neat and our favorite part so far was wiley bring milk and cookies at bedtime. I have listed prices not to complain about prices I knew how much everything cost coming into this I listed prices so everyone could understand my level of frustration I knew this place was expensive I just expected the quality and service to match up to the price and sadly it does not.
