  • This company appears to be a scam and I would question anybody prior to booking their wedding through this organization. I booked a wedding package and paid in full about 10 months prior to my wedding. I didn't receive any final details regarding my videographer or a timeline until the Monday before my Friday wedding despite multiple attempts to obtain information by both myself and my wedding coordinator. Here is a copy of the email I received two days prior to my wedding. "Good evening, I am just following up on this email. I can be present for the first look. Where is that going to take place exactly in the park? I do not want to go on a wild goose chase. Please bear in mind that it does take some time to set up at the live stream and to make sure we have a good signal. If I have to do the first look, that takes away from setting up the ceremony properly. I do not want to be liable in case there should be any mishaps because I did not have enough time to set up for this. I just want you to be aware of this. This really comes down to what is more important. The first look or the ceremony? This is why second shooters come in handily. I am only doing this myself since they only booked one cinematographer. I just want to keep you fully informed that there may be an issue if I am under time constraints to set up the ceremony properly. As for the reception, there is never any downtime for me. I am always constantly moving and I will have to get over to the reception early to set up and get my establish shots including outside of the reception venue and inside the reception venue and I also must speak to the DJ prior to the reception start so we can get my audio hooked up properly so we can capture a clean audio for the speeches. I would be able to Capture some of the photos after the ceremony but I'm not going to waste time just taking video of pictures that they already have. Please confirm with me that you want to do a 2 PM to 8 PM time. Chris " (The OWNER of the company) ------------------------- We were incredibly dissatisfied with the service, or lack there of, that this company provided. I was so upset that I asked them not to come. They never replied to the email cancelling our contract with them but we're not at my wedding or ceremony so one can assume they received word (or were never planning to come). We hired another videographer two days before the wedding and they exceeded all expectations. Film Monkey is the only regret I had in my entire wedding plan.
