Newly opened eatery just south of St. Clair & on the west side of Yonge which serves Turkish desserts and simple fares.
I came in early and noticed they make menemen, a traditional Turkish breakfast. It came in a steel personal size pan along with toast for $12.99. It's basically soft scrambled eggs with tomato sauce, onions & green peppers. Tasted bland but that was easily fixed with salt & pepper at the table. Nice light breakfast to start my day but not worth the value. The Turkish tea was served in a cute nazar glass cup & was a good finish to the kahvalti.
I'll probably come back for lunch some time & sample their manti & börek. Oh they also have simit and kaymak (not on menu but you need to ask). I had these in Istanbul most mornings as a quick brekkie. Their homemade desserts on display look appetizing as well. Man there's so much I need to try next time.
