  • We needed a cheap hotel on a last-minute basis and excalibur was the one. Granted it wasn't in the best place on the strip (a ways walk from most places), but it was close enough. The rooms were clean and pretty big, room service was good, and there were pretty decent places to eat inside the hotel. The casino didn't seem as good, but we didn't gamble much so it was ok. THere are 4 pools here, all of them are relatively the same and not anything special (we went to see some friends at MGM Grand - they had a nice pool). For what we paid, it was great and in Vegas we didn't really stay in the hotel much anyways.
