  • I had the pleasure of having a shave and haircut from Master Barber David Mancuso. He is the house barber of The Venetian Palazzo Hotels. He is the barber who services the Presidential suite. I ordered the Royal Shave and Haircut which as a hotel guest was $80.00. Let me start by saying this royal shave should be listed as an attraction for Las Vegas. It's a one hour experience like no other. I have never been pampered like that for an hour before. The entire process including haircut was 1.5 hours. My face hasn't been that smooth since I was 8 years old. The barbers chair gives a light massage and he does about 15 treatments to your face as he works. I will be coming here every visit to see this true professional. Since I'm an Antiquities dealer I asked him of any notable personalities he has shaved. He has been the master barber since the resorts opening. He said unfortunately he is sworn to secrecy but has shaved stars of sports, entertainment and politics. I will be forced to imagine whom they are. As I was laying there under an aroma therapy steaming towel I was thinking, "I now know why Al Capone loved these treatments." If you take my advice this is a must do experience for any gentleman. It's a great way to start the day before a poker tournament.
