| - Intresting experience last night at the Sparkling. Join a group of 5 people and seat at the both next to the bar. Ordered a negroni. The carte was extensive and after saying, i am looking for something VEGAN. The servet bartender point me at couple suggestions, no main dishes but I went for the pasta with olive oil and garlic. Food arrived to the table. Evetything look good, mothing special and exciting but fresh and everybody was happy. My pasta was absolutly delicious and i even say " that wasv he best pasta I ever ate.". The sauce was pretty thick and i had hard time to believe it was not butter. One of my friend said: if this is good, its because of the butter. Then I adked the server who vonfirm it was no butter, just olive oil, but went to check with the chef to make sure. Came back to the table and redescribe tge pasta : they are made with Extra virgin oil, garlic, white wine, and CHIKEN STOCK. You must see my face and the good laught of my friends. To be honest I was not even angry, it was so big and laughable... I said, thats good, at least there is no butter. Price are good to. When we went out, everybody had the same reflection about the lighting. The lighting is Horible ! Please hire a professionel to adap the apropriate watts dosage for your restaurant.
Overhall, the food was descent, service ok and modetate price. Not sure if I will come back since there is nothing special who will make come back. It deserve a 3 1/2 stars.
