| - So, recently I got a message from someone that works at Bachi Burger, I don't know if it was the owner, but they agreed with me that the restaurant was indeed too stinky from the egg smell, and actually hired repairmen to fix the problem and encouraged me to come and try them out again.
After I told my husband to "suck it, I told you so," about the egg smell we decided to come and try Bachi Burger for dinner. They were right, there was a huge improvement on the smell. When it comes to eggs, my nose is like a shark. I can smell eggs like they can smell blood from miles away. While the smell wasn't 100% gone, it was at an acceptable level that didn't bowl me over as it did the first time here.
And overall the food and the service was really excellent. I wanted to try some different things so I got the only salad on their menu, a mini chop salad, which was fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that they don't have a huge variety of salads, but what they do have is delicious.
We also tasted the pork belly buns which were phenomenal, as was the lonely bird burger I had. Normally I would try to stay on the beef path on a burger place, but seeing that Rick Moonen had enjoyed this sandwich, I wanted to give it a shot. I am not a fan of chicken burgers but this was flavorful and great.
My advice, if you have complained about Bachi Burger in the past, and you happen to be somewhat near to the area, I would give them a second try. They are definitely going to be on my regular rotation for restaurants.
