| - Do you like coffee? Do you love bicycles? Do you enjoy cycling? Do you enjoy drinking coffee while staring at drool-worthy road bikes? If the answer to any (or all) of these questions is a resounding YES, then feast your eyes on this.
After moving from Wisconsin to Arizona last year, visiting Regroup Coffee + Bicycles was on my to-do list. My only regret is not setting it much, much, much higher on my to-do list. I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked what delicious caffeine drink I would love to indulge in. I chose their mocha. Who doesn't love a good mocha? While the barista got started on my caffeine-loaded artistic concoction, I wandered around the store drooling at all of the road bikes. While most of them undoubtedly had a price tag larger than most used Honda Civics, that didn't stop me from imagining myself climbing SoMo on one of these bad boys or carving an intense downhill while passing traffic on the left. I was wearing a helmet on both of those imaginary cycling trips in my head, so not to worry - safety first! Where was I? ...oh yeah, regardless of all the custom eye candy that adorns the shop, it doesn't sound like the awesome bike peeps at Regroup have issues at all custom building anything your cycling needs desire.
I picked up my mocha at the counter and trust me when I say, if Regroup was on my way to work in the morning - I'd gladly stop here for my caffeine fix on weekdays instead of anywhere else. It was sweet without causing my teeth to ache or decay instantaneously. It was creamy. It was beyond artistic and it was gone faster than you can say "Grande Venti blah blah blah". Regroup has managed to take two of my favorite things: cycling & coffee and turned it into a store / cafe that makes you feel warm, & welcome like family. The atmosphere is chill & laid back. There's not even so much as an ounce of stuffy-ness (I just made that word up, like, just now) or elitism. It's a chill spot where you can drink some coffee, chat it up with fellow cyclists or watch the bike of your dreams get built.
#wheredoyouregroup ? ...you already know.
