  • My sister, niece, husband and I went for lunch yesterday . We were seated at such a small table, that the waitress did not have room to put our tea pots, cups and lunches dishes on the table. My niece's dish was hanging half on and half off the table. She ordered the sandwich sampler and soup. Enjoyed the pimento and chicken , not a fan of the tuna. My husband has the chef salad and it said ingredients were fresh but no dressing. My sister ordered the chicken salad, although tasty, small portion. I had the vegetable lasagna. Needed more seasons and hard to cut with a butter knive. The tea , I had the basil, and scones and cheesecakes were very good. Service was poor, table wasn't bussed before she brought out desserts. She only stopped by once to check on us and forgot items. Chairs are solid wood and uncomfortable to sit on, as we were there about an hour and a half. Gift shop okay, lots of items from China. I was dismayed to find craft items that are made by local artists but the items sold in the shop from China. Will not go back.
