Nothing fancy, everything neighbourly.
Central ends is a down and dirty cute community coffee shop. A local artist was in putting up her works and we had a great conversation. I love when coffee shops become a place for community to flourish. They may have been in a bit of a transition so check it out before you take these next sentences to heart. I like the worn out look it's got going on, but it's in the verge of REALLY worn. A smidgen past broken in bordering on feeling a little neglected. I like how the floors look like they've seen 100 years of foot travel. Painted, repainted, painted again and then worn back down to the wood. With a few classy touches (maybe the artwork that was going up) there would be some rad contrast and a comfy room.
The Americano I had hit the spot but was by no means braggable. It was a good caffeine fix and the place would be a great spot to hang out and get some work done. They have free wifi, but it was crazy slow during my visit.
I'm going to keep coming back here. I really want to like this place and I suspect there's more to it than meets the eye on the first visit.
