  • The windows are great; the customer service is AWFUL. We scheduled an install appointment and no one showed up! I called to find out they FORGOT to put me on their schedule. Waste of my day! Two people came to measure, the sales guy did the initial (if you've read other review - yes, horribly long sales pitch) and then a technician. When the installer got there, he remeasured and found one window was built wrong! (Kudos to him because if he had torn out my windows and had no replacement, I would have had an unsecured property. A week later I called and it appeared they didn't know they needed to order my window! Another week gone. The window came in the following week and guess what? No screen to go with it. That took over a month to come in. This job is for a single story house where I was replacing 9 windows and it took them the entire summer to get it done! I had to call them EVERY time. They never called me to inform me of the status of their work. And when I did call I got every excuse and brush off you can think of. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. Sorry Universal. You can and need to do much better. I haven't had such poor service in a very long time.
