  • Dr. Pooka and his staff were very friendly. The clinic was nice, clean and welcoming. I however did not feel like I received a very thorough exam. It was very short and felt rushed. My last exam at a different office in Vancouver was much longer and more in depth. The contact lenses prescription I was given was much higher than my old prescription. This surprised me a little since Costco had just checked my eyes to verify my other contact prescription from Vancouver. I thought maybe my eyes had gotten that much worse. I went home and compared my old prescription to my new one. The old one was much clearer. He gave me the wrong prescription. I will not be going back to this office. I have had much better experiences with doctors who take the time to explain things and make sure they get things right at other offices. This felt more like they just wanted my money. The first conversation I had when I sat down was about charges and fees. I am not really sure why his office got such high reviews? Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.
