  • Cheese pizza has probably been my favorite food since I was a kid, so my pizza reviews tend to be pretty tough. I've eaten at Z Pizza a few times, although mostly out of necessity because the pizza shop next door doesn't take debit cards!!! Z Pizza has a great atmosphere, the staff is always very friendly, and they deliver in a timely manner downtown. However their pizza is not my favorite. There is something about their sauce that I just don't like, and the pizza is always pretty greasy. I can usually make it through one and a half slices before I have to put it down because it just isn't "scarfable" to me, which a good pizza should be. Their salads are pretty good and they have a decent vegetarian selection across the board. One plus is they sell Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and how can you possibly go wrong there?
